If you have music you need recorded, we can do it. Anything from getting your demo ideas down, to a full scale album, this is the perfect place to find your sound. We respect the artist in you and want to help you share your creations. It's a small and cozy studio located in beautiful Hawaiian Paradise Park on the east side of the Big Island. We have an array of mics, guitars, amps, keyboards and drum machines all at your disposal, as well as, all the built-in sounds in the Logic X arsenal. We will take you all the way through the process, from ideas to pre-production, tracking to editing, mixing to final mastering, all in a peaceful and relaxing environment. You'll love the experience!

Veramax also does live sound rental. We have a mid sized PA complete with two main speakers, two subwoofers, three monitors and a sixteen channel board. It's perfect for bands performing at small clubs, private events and parties. We will set up, mix your event and tear down. We can pare that PA down for smaller venues. We also have a small four channel PA, perfect for a solo artist or for a public speaking event. You can rent it or we will set it up and manage it for you.
Owner: Erik Newman
The owner has over two decades of experience in the music industry. He has performed in several bands, played countless gigs and toured the States. He has opened for the likes of Tina Turner, Eddie Money and Rick Springfield, to name a few. Erik has writtten hundreds of songs and has been signed to music publishing deals with Warner Chapel and Famous Music. He also has recorded several albums and mixed live sound at many clubs and outdoor festivals. He continues to perform as a guitarist/songwriter with his wife, Adrianne. Besides his skill at recording and producing, Erik can provide you with a wealth of knowledge in many other avenues of the music business. Studio Rates: $50 per hour payable at the end of each daily session. Cash, check and Venmo are accepted.
PA Rental/Mixing: Contact us for rates and availability.
Rates vary depending on travel distance, set times and venue location.
Guitar Lessons
Interested in learning guitar? Erik can teach you beginning and intermediate pop/rock guitar stylings. Beginners will learn open and barre chords and play their favorite pop hits and jams. Intermediate players will develop soloing techniques using pentatonic and major scales. The focus is on fun and getting to know the instrument and how to enjoy making music.
